Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has announced that the state’s first large-scale facility to process hemp and to extract CBD oil is officially coming to Virginia. Reports say a company will invest more than $3 million to establish and that the company has committed to buying 90 percent of its hemp from growers in Virginia. The Company BRD Extraction, LLC will do as Blue Ribbon Extraction and will be in the Town of South Boston in Halifax County, near the North Carolina border.
