Ezekiel Elliott, the Dallas Cowboy’s star running back threatens to sue Sports Illustrated for a story that implies he was using marijuana. The opinion piece went viral in response to a video in which Elliott said he was “low-key faded,” slang that is sometimes associated with marijuana. The Sport’s Illustrated author not expressly say that Elliott admitted to being under the influence of marijuana, he wrote, “After wearing a mask and social distancing, the most important thing in life to remember is to always make sure you are logged off before you start riffing,” an apparent reference to smoking weed.
