Governor Jared Polis signed a bill on Monday night that works to expand cannabis equity and pardon in Colorado. The bill was signed into law at Simply Pure, a cannabis dispensary. Additionally, the new bill is set to expand access to social equity license and gives the Governor more influence and leverage to pardon cannabis-based offenses. The state’s largest cannabis operators lobbied in favor of the bill.
