Cannabis legalization has recently been leading in many polls as Democrats, Independents and even most Republicans are in favor of new cannabis legislation. In the past having cannabis measures on the ballot has shown to be a good way to boost turnout for supportive politicians. Cannabis is popular with widespread support in many key presidential-election swing states, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, and Virginia. Despite the upsides of cannabis legalization in terms of voting and popularity, it seems the democratic candidate, Joe Biden is not keen on using legalization as campaigning stronghold.
