In Massachusetts, a plan to build a new medical marijuana dispensary next to Nantasket Beach has upset many Hull residents. The “seed to sale” proposal by the local company called Latitude 42 Therapeutics would grow and sell medical cannabis onsite. Some local community residents do not support the opening of a new dispensary and have started an online petition. While other residents who are in favor of the new facility point to the economic advantages; such as creating local jobs and remodeling the abandoned building that has been empty for more than a decade.
