In a recent news release, Mexican officials report that they plan to finalize medical cannabis regulations in the next two months, according to the Secretariat of Health.  In mid-2017, authorized cannabis for medical use was legalized including products high in THC. However,  Mexico over the last three years has struggled to establish regulation t to facilitate a functioning cannabis market. Experts say “it is uncertain whether Mexican authorities will create the necessary rules for a functional market within the promised two-month window”.
