According to Argentina’s Ministry of Health, that country will make definitive changes to its medical marijuana law. On Wednesday, the Health Minister met with key legislators to wrap up the details on a draft regulation that will allow for cannabis cultivation and production by local pharmacies. The local news site Infobae also reported that the measure will guarantee access to medical cannabis to all patients free of charge, regardless of their health coverage.  The new regulations were created to fix existing laws that failed to cover for patients’ needs that propelled a legal vacuum forcing patients to either rely on the illicit market or be left without treatment.
