In Oklahoma, the medical marijuana market is thriving despite the COVID-19 pandemic hit. In fact, the Oklahoma Tax Commission announced that April sales set a monthly record, at $61 million, and then hit $73 million in May. Oklahoma’s new thriving market can be linked to linnet medical marijuana rules and a new consumer base.  For example, the state’s largest dispensary, Apco Med Shop in Oklahoma City’s clientele came mostly from government employees who have influenced cannabis rules during the pandemic.
