On July 17th, the Cannabis Control Commission hosted a virtual orientation seminar for participants in the second cohort of Massachusetts’ first-in-the-nation statewide Social Equity Program, and programming continues Friday, July 24th. The exclusive seminar will be with Chairman Steven J. Hoffman. The Seminar will be held for participants interested in learning about evaluating their business’ value and structuring deals with investors. This Overall seminar is a rection to Massachusetts legislators pushing Marijuana social equity amendments earlier this week. One controversial amendment is attempting to the controversial provision of a policing reform bill that would direct marijuana tax revenue to law enforcement training.
