This week, two medical cannabis producers, a cannabis manufacturer, a cannabis testing laboratory, and a patient licensed medical cannabis grower filed petitions in state district court. The petition request that a judge annuls rules adopted by the DOH earlier this month. These participants are in addition to two other medical cannabis producers who filed against the state last week. On Tuesday and Thursday of this week, even more, separate petitions were filed by bug brand cannabis companies as well. All of the petitioners are asking for the same ruling: for a judge to invalidate recently passed rules by the Department of Health, which oversees the state’s Medical Cannabis Program.
