Medically Correct, a Denver-based marijuana edibles producer, announced today it will not proceed with a proposed acquisition by Schwazze. It’s one of several acquisition deals to fall apart in recent months for Schwazze. Earlier this year, Schwazze was to acquire several Colorado-based businesses, including cultivator Los Sueños Farms, concentrates company Dabbles Extracts as well as retailers Strawberry Fields and Colorado Harvest Company. If any of the attempted business deals had been successful Schwazze would have had a firm grip on the supply of cannabis in the state, particularly for extraction-grade flower.
