In Massachusetts, the legal cannabis market is still taking shape as rules around home delivery and access options for medical patients have recently been at the center of the latest round of push-and- between the industry, medical patients, and regulators. On Monday, the Cannabis Control Commission held a public hearing on its third phase of rule-making for marijuana sales and products. Delivery service was one area of the CCC’s draft regulations for adult-use marijuana that attracted significant public comment. Home delivery of marijuana has long been allowed under the state’s medical-marijuana program, and advocates are now pushing for a delivery-only license for the recreational market.
