In 2019, Mark Spear, Canadian cannabis grower had a plan for collective outdoor farming that has ended in a sudden turn of events. Spear founded the WildFire Collective where he wanted to form an outdoor cannabis collective with some like-minded farmers that would raise capital through equity crowdfunding and start growing high-quality outdoor flowers in the Ottawa Valley region.
