In Oklahoma, medical cannabis sales are set to double in 2020 to roughly $800 million. The increased amount of sales can be traced to the state’s business-friendly program launched in 2018 which continues to thrive. According to Oklahoma Tax Commission data by The Oklahoman, throughout June, retail medical marijuana sales had exceeded $385 million. Oklahoma is projected to reach $700 million-$860 million this year compared with an estimated $345 million in 2019.
