Advocates remark, legalization, and regulation of cannabis reduces the potential risk of consumers using possible dangerous and contaminated products and the study only strengthened their argument. Previously, it had been predicted that the adult vaping rates were going to increase however, the study established adult vaping rates and marijuana use rates had not increased. Some teen consumers of adult-use marijuana users were ranked among the lowest with lung-related injuries from vapes the study notes, with less than 1 in 100,000 cases between the ages of 12-64.
