As part of a broader plan to help fight the economic fallout of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Tom Wolf called last week for adult-use cannabis legalization. Joshua Horn, partner and co-chair of the Cannabis Law Practice at Fox Rothschild, told Cannabis Business Times and Cannabis Dispensary, “I think it’s got more of a real shot now than it ever has.” Although adult-use legalization has support from Gov. Wold, John Fetterman, and the public, it lacks support from key lawmakers in the state’s Republican-controlled legislature.
