Many cannabis business owners believe election may prove a watershed moment for the industry. They are investing more into their local cannabis business because they believe if presidential candidate Joe Biden and his pro-decriminalization running-mate, Senator Kamala Harris win it will benefit their business. However, industry analysts also predict even if President Donald Trump wins a second term, changing views on marijuana laws among voters and lawmakers have brightened the outlook for the industry.
