The Italian Ministry of Health suspended the entry into force of a decree that would have added certain CBD preparations into the table of medicines in its narcotics law, according to a notice in the country’s Official Gazette last week. On Oct. 1, the decree was approved to pave the way for the authorization of sales of GW Pharmaceuticals’ CBD drug Epidiolex. To do that, it planned to include ingestible, plant-derived CBD preparations in the list of controlled medicines.
