MedMen Enterprises continue to face more legal and financial hardships. At the beginning of 2020 MedMen lost a medical marijuana business license in Virginia while at the same time having many founders step down from leadership roles. Then, in May a LAwsuit resulted in the temporary closing of two MedMen branded stores in Arizona. Furthermore, the potential loss of a retail license in Pasadena, California, and new demands for $600,000 legal fees from former Chief Financial Officer James Parker all spell bad news for MedMen. MedMen spokesman cited a recent company news release describing plans for a financial restructuring.
