Canadian brand awareness and conversion are reportedly lagging amongst Cannabis consumers. According to a survey of 3,000 consumers conducted by pot data firm Brightfield Group; Fewer than 15% of users recognize most marijuana brands. In fact, currently, No brand in Canada had more than 41% of consumers. Also, The Survey showed that even among the most popular brand like Canopy Growth Corp.’s Tweed and Aurora Cannabis Inc brand awareness was not always leading to converting brand recognition into direct purchases. Less than half of consumers familiar with those brands go out and buy them, according to Brightfield’s report.
