During their January 20, 2022 public meeting, the Commission discussed the need for continuing these Orders in recognition of ongoing risks posed by COVID-19. As a result, Certifying Healthcare Providers (Providers) who wish to conduct clinical visits via Telehealth to issue initial Certificates of Registration to Patients registering with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program in Massachusetts for the first time may submit a waiver request to the Commission. The Commission’s Waiver Request Form is available here. Additionally, MTCs may continue to transfer or dispense medical-use marijuana or marijuana products to a Registered Qualifying Patient or Caregiver within a vehicle located in the parking area of their licensed premises, or directly to a Registered Qualifying Patient or Caregiver at the entrance of the MTC.
